What problems?  I pop floppies  with Apps on them all the time into other
Macs, run the apps off disk, and have no problem with Finder "seeing" the
application, it mearly sees the type as being APPL, and looks for the CODE
resource and rund the program.  I've never had a problem like that on a
Mac when I run an applicationm from a floppy.


    The Amiga model for installing software is to insert floppy, double-click

Same thing can be done on a Mac, provided that the applicatiopn is whole
and intect, and not in any compressed "installer" form.

Unless I was missing something here?
