That's quite right. Also AmigaOS runs on any 68k processor, as many 
OS-friendly Apps will do.

Oh, just at this moment I remember one fact that is to be said about AmigaOS 
(unfortunatly negativ :-( ):
    AmigaOS is 68000 code! There are no versions especially for higher 
    processors. Don't know, is AmigaOS 3.1 68020 code?
Sure, there are replacements for some librarys as math.library to get hold of 
the advantages of higher processors, but the whole OS (2.1) is in 68000 code.

Funny, that MacOS is 68040 optimized and even though slower than AmigaOS...
