Anyone who has a good understanding of computers will understand what
he was saying.
...which says a lot about how much you know (or, rather, don't know)
about computers. That's not in itself a bad thing (lack of knowledge
is a correctable condition), but regarding yourself as being superior
in some way *because* you don't know *is* a bad thing or, at least, a
stupid thing.
Actually, it says a lot more about your general approach to technical
issues, namely that if you don't understand what someone's saying, it
must be "techno-babble". I suppose if you overheard a discussion on
the details of cardiovascular surgery in a medical forum, you'd say
something similar to what you said here.
If that's the case, then perhaps you should go back to reading your
comic books and stay away from Usenet (except, of course, for the
comic book discussion groups)...
Next time, ask someone to explain. You'll learn a lot more that way.
