I'd have to say that the number running Linux is probably well over
500,000, maybe even near a million.  And the other various UNIX
variants on the PC probably have around 300,000 to 500,000.  
Even Microsoft is running their Win95 help servers on BSDI and
not their beloved WinNT.  Makes you wonder why anyone else would
want to use it as an internet server if Microsoft isn't.
