This is certainly not my experience. My office computer (a 486DX33)
running WFWG has 16 MB of ram. My 7100 also has 16 MB. There is no
comparision in the number of apps that each can run at one time. The Mac
wins by at least a factor of two. Also, the Mac crashes much less often.

I agree that Apple's VM is way less than optimal. Ram Doubler is an
excellent fix until Copland arrives.
