I dare say that the HP Unix workstations are doing a lot more than the
Amiga.

Smaller UNIX systems like Linux and FreeBSD perform extremely well in
as little as 8Mb memory.  Before the days of X (not exactly a lean,
mean GUI machine) UNIX systems ran extremely well in half that much
memory and usably in as little as 2Mb memory.
