My original statement is that it doesn't do anything productive. Without
32 bit Win 95 applications, what are the benefits of running it? To
optimize Win3.1 programs so that they crash in a better-looking GUI? I
agree that Win is a standard, whether I support Os/2 or not... but do you
honestly think it's even worth looking at if you have to pay
for
all the upgrades you'll be needing? Economically, is it worthwhile (for
a business...) Make your own choice.. Mine is a straight out No!
Os/2 offers you everything you need for Win 3.1 programs.. and I bet they
will offer something for Win 95 programs soon as well... time.. patience...

I DIDN'T DEBATE THIS FACT! I never doubted that fact... I just said that
it ain't productive in a real world environment (take the militaries
experiences for example). Take network capabilities for example.

If they had released the WHOLE BLOODY SYSTEM AT ONCE they wouldn't need
too keep improving the product! (Remember, that what they sell generally
has to run at an acceptable level as well!)
ALL MAJOR DEVELOPERS IMPROVE THEIR
PRODUCTS ANYWAY! The point is, that if they had released it and it was
everything they promised, including at least the stability level that
Warp possesses, then they would win a lot MORE customers... including
myself, and then it would be worth upgrading software products.
And yes, they may have a lot of sold copies... preloaded or not
doesn't matter. Profit level wise, the niches in special software (let's
take Os/2 for example) some times give the developing company WAY MORE
profits than let's say Windows. I'm not saying this is the case,
however, but what I am saying is that having a speciality in somethings
give more profits, and thus the number of copies sold and all
miscellaneous shit like that is irrelevant.
