It depends on what your day to day work is. If it's running Word,
Word for the Macintosh under Executor under Linux is probably a worse
solution than Word for Windows under an emulator under Linux which is
probably (if your day to day work is running Word) a worse solution
than just running Windows '95 and running Word.

However, there are still many pieces of software written for the Mac
that aren't available elsewhere (HyperCard, NIH Image, Space Madness).
If your day to day work includes running these, then a non-Mac
emulator won't help you at all.

There are also cases in between, such as our case, where we used the
Macintosh version of Word. It did what we needed to do and we didn't
have a Windows version, and in fact, the system on which we wrote the
manual was a NeXTstation which couldn't run Windows anyway.

I'm not telling people that they must run Executor or even that an
Executor based solution is inherently the best solution. I'm only
saying it's out there and you can pick up a demo of it and decide
whether or not it's useful to you. We're not a hard-sell company.
