It definitely is.  The 40P costs about twice the price of a _good_
Pentium 90 (no, not an Intel Xpress :-) which is still faster:

SNI/Pyr PC/E5S    Pentium    30/90   256+8/8      86.3    72.7  Jul94 c.bmarks

Let me remind you that you needed a 604 Mac to be able to show a marginal
speed advantage over the Pentium.
