|Why so?  It's always preferable to have ram over VM, but the Mac's
|virtual memory scheme has always been quite awful.  If not, Apple
|wouldn't be pleding to "fix it" in Copland, and you wouldn't have Ram
|Doubler to "fix it" as well.  The speed hit I've gotten with VM on the
|Macs I've used is far more significant than my experience with
|Win/Win95.
	Bullocks. Hitting the harddrive/swapfile on windows will
	slow down a PC just as much. This is made worse by the 
	horrendous bloat of most common PC apps making the use
	of the swapfile usually a necessity vs. just an option.
