Yes. 680X0 series of chips. damned good computer (mine however, is
currently retired in a laundry basket. Cool games. Anyhoo...) that used many
custom chips to get the job done. OS/2 is functionally better, but the Amiga
user interface is still the best in the world IMHO. Hopefully, the company that
bought Commodore will pickup where the Amiga development team left off on
it's 64-bit computer. L8r....
P.S. More is availible on the history the Amiga (which was NOT born from the
Commodore 64) the the Amiga groups. L8r...
