First, Apple made lots of money in 1995, so it's a moot point.

Even if it wasn't, a $68 million loss does not necessarily mean that they
have to dip into their $ Billion or so in cash. I threw away my annual
report, but I would be surprised if cash flow was negative. Cash flow !=
profits. Maybe you ought to learn some business before commenting on
subjects like this.

Finally, a large percentage of Apple shareholders would stick with Apple
regardless of a couple of quarterly losses. In fact, one would expect that
the first quarter of 1996 (Apple's second fiscal quarter) will also show a
loss due to write offs from a restructuring. As long as stockholders
believe that the restructuring, Copland, PPCP, OpenDoc, CyberDog, etc will
turn the company around, they will not bail out.
