I type "lynx http://www4.ncsu.edu/~rkswamy/www/"  at my prompt.
It works fine, but I was reading news and did not feel like
hitting "ctrl-z" and then running Lynx.  I was already compiling
some other stuff in the background with "make &"  and since
there were already about 35 other users on the machine making
the load around 4, I did not feel like like taking the time
to check the url since the machine was already too slow to start
with.
