Care to explain to the rest of us why it won't work?  Have you ever
actually tried it, or is this just some made-up argument based on the way
you think Macs work?  The only thing I've noticed on my Mac when I've had
a slower modem (9600 baud until last year on my main machine) is that it
takes longer to download the page.
