If you only listen to the media...

Apple's sales in fact are more than double what they were the same 
quarter last year.  
Yes, the earnings are down.  This is simply because of reduced 
profit margins Apple has been forced to take in order to remain 
price competitive.  It is a fierce industry price wise.  
Apple's profit margins were hitting around 20% but now are 10 and 
below...  you do the math.

But, Apple's sales are phenomenal and still growing.  Don't worry or 
even talk about Apple anymore, it isn't interesting nor is it 
productive.
