When I formated my IBM disk to a mac format the Powermacs froze while that
happened, sure I rarly ever format a disk, but it is nicer to do it on a
OS/2, Win95, or even amiga where you can still work. Also last at my high
school when printing we had to wait while the slow dot matrix printers
worked away, something that even win3.1 didn't need to do. I don't know if
the macs were configured wrong or whatever, but that lack of multitasking
sure made me want to use an IBM, especially if I knew everybody was going to
try and use the printer at once... It would be nice if the next mac os is
able to multitask those two tasks.
