It all depends on the printer that is being printed to. Some printers (i.e.,
Image Writers and most dot matrix printers, if not all) don't give an option 
for backgroud printing. At least, not the last time I checked (few minutes
ago.) 

I guess, I could be wrong. So, please correct me if I am.
