I don't gather that this will be a simple task, since if it was simple, it would've been done long ago. Wondering if Copland will then break some backward compatibility in this now protected OS. ( Win NT-ish ) Or if they can retain complete backward compatibility while migrating to this OS which can protect it self from legacy apps. That would be impressive. I await the result.
