Apple is sponsoring (i.e. paying) OSF-RI to port OSF's Mach-3.0
derived microkernel to PowerMac, and to develop a Linux personality
for that.  This is a lot more than "absolutely zero", but somewhat
less than "porting it".  At

you will find Apple's announcement.  The first port is expected to be
availible this summer.

I would assume that Apple is fully cooperating with the porting
effort, as it would be Apple's money that is wasted if the project fails.
