Because you're making invalid comparisons. I don't think Apple _ever_
promoted MacOS for heavy duty server work. They have offered systems which
ran UNIX before for that purpose.

MacOS _is_ promoted for networks where ease of use is paramount. For the
vast majority of servers, the performance penalty for using MacOS
(compared to UNIX) is acceptable--particularly when the ease of use
benefits are counted.

NT? Well, I guess if you want a system which is neither as stable as UNIX
nor as easy to use as MacOS, it's probably OK.
