Win95 / NT - Windows 32 bit app with NT 3.51 / Win95 API calls
Win32s - 32 bit subsystem, runnable in Win3.1, WFWG, and (older Win32s
versions) OS/2.

Win95 / NT apps, obviously, are preferable; they're termed "real" 32
bit apps.
