What is easy for some is difficult for others and vice versa.
I already have everything organzed well.

I know that but what I want to do is this. I have a gif and use three
different programs on that gif. I have all three of those programs.
With a command line I do xv file.gif or xpaint file.gif or convert file.gif
etc. Can I do a special click on the file and have it display the possible
programs to use to load the gif or am I stuck with the one that created
it. Remember, I have all of the programs.

Yes, I could do that to with the Looking Glass desktop in Caldera, but
I don't like drag and drop myself and try to keep my screen as free
of clutter as possible. I have no icons, just an icon menu but it's
hidden until I click my right mouse button.
