Yup.  "All kinds," in this case, meaning the use of the Shift, Command, or
Option keys with the non-mouse hand.  *So* much more difficult than having
all of those useful keys on the other hand.  And "kludges" meaning "built
into the operating system, rather than depending on the whims of
individual programmers who have all of the cooperative instincts of house
cats."

Just awful.

Even though it's usually easier to learn how to coordinate with the keays
on the other hand, and even though it gives you more options, and even
though it's less strain on your mouse hand...

In other words, Dan is used to one thing, and one thing only.  Don't
startle him.
