That is probably wise...  :-)

I just posted it verbatim so that people could see what one company has
done. Frankly, I don't give a darn as to who comes out on top.

My only negatives on Microsoft concern their quality of support; I am no
less unhappy with Novell support, and Novell's policies.

I recently installed OS/2 Warp and WP6.1 on a client's 486.  There were a
couple of problems, and a few phone calls to both Novell and IBM. Novell's
answer to everything was: You don't have enough RAM (8mb), and you "really
shouldn't be running OS/2", that's why you are having the problems.

IBM on the other hand, was knowledgable, *most* helpful, and did all they
could to be of assistance.

The "problem" in the end, turned out to be a corrupted file which WPwin6.1
had created from an old WP5.1 file. WP6.1 gives a cryptic error message
with different addresses when you get a corrupted file: "General Protection
fault in module WPWIN61.EXE..."  It doesn't tell you the file is corrupted;
it will *not* print the file; it will not let you view most of the file ---
finally, there is *no* repair facility for the file, and you can't even
export it as an ascii file.

Sorry to digress... just letting off steam and frustration.

Thanks for your note.
