One of the areas where computers have become more difficult to
use over the years, is with people with a physical handicap.
People who have no way of using their arms, or who are blind and
so on, are having problems using computers with GUI's.

Voice recognition is perfect for some of them - providing they
have the ability to use voice. You can even teach the computer
to understand what they say if their speaking ability is lower
than normal. Voice reconition has not THAT much use in everyday
computing for most of us, but for some it can be VERY important.

Imagine a student lab where 25 (or more) students are sitting,
talking to their computers. And I thought that 25 IBM "click
as loud as you can" keyboards were bad.
