Minor battles in the backwaters. I've read the marketeer's posts, and he makes some good points; however, I've also been debating his posts because I don't feel this is essentially a marketing issue. The real thing to be accomplished is a change in what is acceptable marketing -- this is a political issue (and perhaps a religious one). I haven't used NT, and never intend to. I've used earlier releases of VC and MFC, and do not intend to use them again. For me Microsoft is "the opposition," or at least the leader of the pack. I still use Windoze 3.1 quite a bit, but instead of migrating laterally to another Microsoft system I am migrating upwards to Linux and GNU. (By the way, I also still use RSX-11; which is very much a real OS -- unfortunately an old one.) -- Sphere.
