In <4006km$4os@questor.org>, sp@questor.org wrote about the Win95 registration wizard. Once, I bought something from Microsoft by mail order. They sold my name on some list and now I get all sorts of crap in the mail that I don't want. Worse, there's a credit bureau file with my name on it. How dare they do this? --- Yes, this is supposed to be funny. What I mean is, how come people get bent out of shape by odd rumours like the Win 95 registration wizard one, and don't seem to mind the more blatant invasions of privacy that go on every day? Apologies for the absence of any relevance to Intel processors here. (Unless of course TRW runs on Intel...)
