Granted, I wouldn't expect mom to set up X, but I can usually use 
an exisiting Xconfig file, in some cases tweaking it slightly.

But once it's set up, it's set up.

just created 3 user accounts - took 3 seconds...

no need to - just use mtools -

I agree that X is more difficult to install, not due to it's UNIX
heritage, but due to far greater flexibility and sophistication.

Useradd is certainly no more difficult than corresponding nt tools.

mtools works just like the dos version of the commands - 
just prepend an 'm' to the dos command name:

mcopy, mdir, mdel, mformat, etc...

See? Unix isn't all that obscure.
