When these people who like to put down MS come : up with an OS that does better than windows then I might actually pay : attention to them. Does it give them some sort of ego boost, or is it the : current "cool thing" to do? How many of them have written any program : that is reasonably good, (I'm not talking about how good it is in their : own over inflated opinions either.) I think the point is that there are many good alternatives to Windows out there and that Windows (through bad business practice and good marketing) won anyway... I could cite X Window (at least UNIX is a REAL Operating System), Workbench (Amiga may be dead, but it was still MILES ahead of PCs) and Macintosh to name just a few... Macintosh made an inferior hardware platform do inferior things - and made quite a bit of money doing it... Lets hope it is all fixed with Windows 95 (unlikely!!!)... Matthew J.
