But a very high percentage of users ARE indifferent. Many don't even
realise that Windoze isn't an operating system. As far as many users
go windoze is pretty, and the speed etc problems are just the way
computers work.

don't beleive it, read some of the don't bother using pgp threads that
surface from time to time on alt.security.pgp. There are a lot of
people who feel that large corporates/govt's will NEVER do anything
wrong and if they say that such and such is good for them then they'll
use it.

Microsoft, could make thier OS a lot cheaper because they had a large
number of gauranteed sales, and there's nothing like saving money to
keep people happy.
