		o no memory protection
o no virtual memory (although you can have Gigamem for some
				     programs)
o no retargetable graphics (yet) in the ordinary OS
		o loss of speaking support
o no networking in the plain OS
AmiTCP v2 I think is being worked on as an independent project?
o the graphics (and especially the sound and disk controller

Don't get me wrong, I like AmigaDOS--I have used every version from 1.1-3.0,
but there are some glaring deficiencies to the OS that have to be solved.
(I have/had an Amiga 1000, 500, 600, 2000, 1200)
I hear (I do not know enough to speak with confidence by my own knowledge)
that porting the OS from the 68xxx series to a RISC series (the contenders
appear to be PA-RISC or PowerPC) would be a major project.

By the way, apparently Microsoft was in charge of AmigaBasic.
