We at Teltone are currently evaluating and looking for good quality
68000 family cross tools (compilers, linker et cetera.) to run on our
Pyramid. If you are using such a tool and have recommendations for or
against, please reply. I will summarize for the net if the response
warrants.
Please rate your cross tool vendor on:
1 - Quality of generated code
2 - Speed of compilation
3 - Support, Service and Reliability
4 - Completeness of tools package.
5 - Overall price/performance.
There are several vendors that we believe to be the front runners, and
we are particularly interested in your comments regarding them and their
products:
Intermetrics (Cambridge, Mass.)
Green Hills (Glendale, Calif.)
Oasys (also in Cambridge)
Uniware (Downsers Grove, Illinois).
Feel free to phone, write, e-mail or send carrier pigeons, as you wish.
Eastern callers are requested to call in their afternoon.
Thank You,
Warren Seltzer
