700MB CDC WREN

We are thinking of buying a CDC WREN (V or VI - can't remember) 700MB
disk to our Sequent Balance. This is a SCSI drive and I was wondering if
we should expect anything unsolvable problems with this? (By unsolvable I
mean things that would require a complete rewrite of the SCSI driver, not
just changes to kernel configuration files (we have only a binary dist)).

We are running Dynix 2.1.1.

Btw, I've just got the 4.4BSD nfsd off uunet.uu.net, and noticed that it
has a large part of it as kernel mode code. Do you think it would be
possible to incorporate it into a binary kernel distribution?

/Peter
