I plan to install an 8mm on my Sequent S27 running Dynix/ptx 1.4
The drive will support 8200/8500/compression. It is from Contemporary
Cybernetics. They claim to have installed 1 before. They assure me
of full functionality.

If you have any questions or concerns about this please feel free to
contact me. If there is interest, I will post any problems etc.

I am posting this now because I had trouble finding the right drive to
install on our in-house system and thought others might have similar
problems. This is the first offering of 8mm via Single ended SCSI that
I am aware of; if not, sorry to use the bandwidth.

Disclaimer: I am sure someone already did it. I am not sure anyone supports it
