Having used this package as a student...I strongly recommend that anyone
who is interested in using concurrent algorithms take a very serious
look at it.

Its very slick.
Image tasks, threads, and co-routines as C++ objects. To send, or receive
messages from them, just call a member function...

Imagine spawning a task with:

uTask ptr = new aTask(parameters....);

communicating with it with...

ptr->aMessage(someMessage);
ptr->aDifferentMessage(anotherMessage);

and waiting for it to complete with...
delete ptr;

It uses statically typed messages...

In the 2B CS course at Waterloo, you develop such projects as:
A concurrent quick sort...instead of recursing, you spawn child tasks, and
wait for them to complete!
a small parser that uses co-routines...
a simulation of an assembly line with workers, managers, and inspectors...
 (each is a single task, and they communicate!!)
a disk-scheduler that will accept input from multiple tasks

and several others...(which I've forgotten...but were very interesting!!)

Cheers.
Andrew

P.S. How's this for a glowing testimonial??? ;-) I liked using it...
