PIC on Sequent - Can I print a PIC bigger than 8X8?

We have SoftQuat pic installed on our sequent - I cannot get pic to format a file larger than 8 X 8. It insists on 'shrinking' it to atlmost 8X8. Is there a workaround or fix.
