Has anyone installed cap on dynix/ptx ?

I want to use Postscript printer on Appletalk from dynix/ptx through
Cayman Gatorbox which passes Appletalk packet into TCP/IP network
and vice versa. cap which stands for Columbia AppleTalk Package for UNIX
converts Appletalk packet into TCP/IP packet and vice versa.

Any information is welcome. Thank you.

after several hours of fiddling around with various flavours in configure,
and fiddling with the source code, and writing gettimeofday(),
i managed to get enough of lib/cap sources to compile to build
the library, and then got samples/getzones.c to compile and link
(you'd think that would be enough right?)

though i can ping the gatorbox, getzones times out. 8-(

a quick call to my local sequent office on how to set up a remote printer,
then configuring gatorprint in the gatorbox, a reboot of the gatorbox
and then lp can see the laser so that
	lp -dlasername < postscript-file
now works.
AND
	lpstat -t
will show the printer status.

the name you give the laser (ie
	lasername
is what you configure in gatorprint.
id does not have to bear any resemblance to the mac chooser name of
the laser. in gatorprint you specify the laser's mac-side name and
its zone.

the people at Cayman told me that versions before 2.1 of the gatorbox
software have some print bugs. we are currently running 1.6 on the
gatorbox and all seems fine
