Raw IP on PTX - is there any documentation anywhere?

I posted a while ago about experiences compiling gated under PTX.
Not even the usual suspects (:-) replied...

The hard bit is trying to work out how to send/receive ICMP packets
via the raw IP interface. The STREAMS based TCP/IP seems to be quite
similar to SVR4 (even to the /etc/netconfig file) but is missing the
rawip driver and support for SOCK_RAW in the socket module/library.

The PTX documentation is really helpful. It says that applications
need to use the TLI interface to access raw IP datagrams. Needless
to say, the TLI stuff fails to mention anything at all about raw IP.

Does anyone out there have any advice about this problem? Is there
any relevant documentation. Have Sequent ported rawip to PTX? Does
anyone have any working code for PTX which sends/receives ICMP that
they could send me?

TIA
Chris
