User friendly text editor wanted

We are in the process of installing an email package on our Sequent
system
and most of the users who will be using it are not familiar with Unix.
We would like to make it as painless as possible to use the email so
we would like to find an editor that is 'somewhat' more friendly than
VI. A full screen editor that uses the cursor keys to move around
would be nice. Most of our users are used to the editors available on
MS/DOS so something on that order would be nice. I suspect there are
several available in the public domain, but I don't know where.

Any help or suggestions are gratefully accepted.

The PICO editor that is supplied with Pine is supposed be very user
friendly, albeit limited. I use Pine, but with vi, but it does
compile as a seperate binary. You might even end up using Pine as your
mail tool :-). It can be had from ftp.cac.washington.edu and compiled
very easily under PTX.
