Hi, I think I posted this question a while ago, but I didn't have all the information. Well, now I do. I want to run a shutdown process whenever my UPS system signals the computer. It uses the serial port to signal a shutdown request. It uses DTYPE "9" (whatever that means). When there is a blackout it (shorts out I guess) pins 2, 4. And pins 4,5: 5 minutes before the battery runs out. If anyone knows how to handle this, please let me know.
