OS version confusion (again!)

Just when I thought I had a handle on the different versions of Irix
4.0.n...

I have a Crimson that is running:

	Irix 4.0.5 A
	Compilers 3.10

We are having a problem with segmentation errors in a fortran program,
which might be a bug mentioned as fixed in the release notes for Irix
4.0.5C (now Irix 4.0.5F?). I want to upgrade the Crimson to:

	Irix 4.0.5 C or F
	Compilers 3.10

Here's the kicker: the compilers disk also installs some form of eoe1.
What do I do to upgrade: load the C of F disk and then the compilers disk
(again)?

C; F isn't supported on Crimson, unless you have RE graphics.
As I recall, C isn't a real release, just some patches, but I
could be wrong.

Nothing to change here; you already have it.

/lib/cpp and stuff under /usr/sysgen/root. Load the compilers eoe
stuff again (with 'set neweroverride') if you really want the newer
cpp; If you are doing ANSI C, you don't use that anyway, so it probably
doesn't matter.
