I am also looking for a secure version of tftpd.
I am need to keep router configuration files in the tftp directory.
I have a version for the other workstation manufacturer, that
allows me to specify what IP addresses are allowed to read and write
which files. this also protects me from myself, trying to write read-only
files.

I have already looked on ssgi.com, no luck.
will the version I have for the other platform port easily?

any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Mike

BTW:
here is a listing of the other version.
