Need help compiling gcc-2.3.3

I am trying to compile gcc-2.3.3 on a Indigo 4000, compilation
works fine but stage2/stage3 cc1plus dumps core. Please help...

Here is the test file:

dummy.C
----------------------------------
  struct filebuf {
      virtual int foo();
  };
  filebuf ff;
  extern "C" int FUNC(int);
  int FUNC(int i) { return i+10; }

----------------------------------

I am using bison-1.19.

Thanks,

   Here is the test file:

Your cc1plus (when compiled using GCC 2.3.3) dumps core for every
input whatsoever. A bug report has already been filed. One possible
workaround is to recompile cp-lex.c *without* the -O switch, and
relink cc1plus. Some part of cp-lex.c that calls a couple of inline
functions in a row seems to be misoptimized by GCC 2.3.3.

I posted an article to gnu.gcc.help group about a week ago to ask about
this and didn't get any reply. The interesting thing is, I built 2.3.2
early Decemember and it works just fine, both C and C++. I updated to
2.3.3. later and cc1plus dumped core, I posted the question to the net,
no response. So I went back to 2.3.2, you know what 2.3.2's cc1plus could
not compile either. I removed the whole old gcc-lib dir and bin dir and
got the same core dump. I don't know where I skewed up.

I built the same thing for a Sun Sparc station, both 2.3.2. and 2.3.3
work fine, but not SGI machine.

I wonder if it is really a bug, when they gonna fix it.
