No.  There was much internal debate about 'miniroot required' subsystems.
The 'experts' lost on this one.  Any subsystem that requires kernel
reconfiguration, and even a number that just have /etc/init.d scripts
require miniroot installs, for the time being.  A future release is
likely to relax these requirements, except across major O/S releases.
