Yes, you should be able to.

RealityEngine allows you to have stereo mode in a window, instead of
having the entire screen be stereo. With a Skywriter, it was hard to
mix stereo and non-stereo applications; the non-stereo ones looked
bad. With RealityEngine, the non-stereo applications look just like
they always do.
