HELP WITH StereoView GLASSES!

Hey - that's OK. I've been innundated with 0.0 responses to my request for
info on writing software for StereoGraphics' CrystalEyes shutterglasses.
Actually, I did get one response, but from someone else who said they'd like
to know too.

If no software support exists then could someone at least tell me that. I find
that hard to believe though, having read the rave of "StereoView" in an
SGI leaflet, and the fact they bother to put an output on the back of my
IRIS for them.

To reiterate: can someone explain (preferably with some source code) how to
generate a screen output for stereo viewing.

I will be most grateful - promise...

John...

I guess my email never made it south of the border. I don't know if he's
still with StereoGraphics, but try to contact Bob Akka -- he's got some
sample code and documentation which I believe he supplies to customers.
You'll have to get the address (San Rafael ?) and phone elsewhere. I
ported some of their sample code to an HP workstation, and there was
definitely some SGI stuff floating around.

The phone numbers for StereoGraphics are: 415-459-4500 and -459-3020(FAX).
We provide some simple stereo examples (in C source) with the IDO product.
Look in dev.sw.giftsfull for /usr/people/4Dgifts/examples/devices/StereoView
