Quake III is unusably slow and choppy.
I am running the Number Nine Revolution IV card with an SGI 1600SW flat
panel on Linux kernel 2.4.3-12smp with 2x700Mhz intel. XFree86-4 w/i128
server.
gnome looks great but I can't seem to get this OpenGL rendering.
/etc/X11/XF86Config-4 looks correct and has the following "Module"
Section:
Load "dbe"
Load "GLcore"
Load "dri"
Load "glx"
however glxinfo reveals "direct rendering: No". I have pasted the
output of glxinfo below.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

RH dumps these to /var/log/X* btw, maybe your setup does too given the connection between RH and SGI Linux systems. -- Seagoon: Will my aeroplane need a hangar?
