I have inherited a Hewlett-Packard ScanJet II color scanner
with SCSI interface. It doesn't appear to respond to the available
IRIX SCSI scanner driver. Can anyone tell me what I need to make it
work with IRIXv4.0.5 on a 4D/35 or 4D/RPC?
Thanks in advance,

I'm told that the Scanjet II's SCSI interface is non-standard (it's supposed to be SCSI-I), which causes most regular SCSI drivers to fail. You may have to contact HP and get a ScanJet II driver in source form from them. Try posting something in comp.sys.hp about this and see if anyone there has any suggestions.. -- Shankar Unni E-Mail: shankar@sgi.com Silicon Graphics Inc. Phone: +1-415-390-2072
