I have put on a clean full installation of IRIX 6.5.15m (my own special
installation with lots of extras such as Blender, BMRT, MOPS, etc.)
Note that for doing video work, 6.5.15 is the better OS release
to use since some bugs were introduced into later release updates.
Adobe Premiere 4.2 is installed.

As stated above, a full installation is on the system. If required
though I can remove any unwanted items in order to maximise the space
available for video data - the O2 demos, for example, take up about
500MB. In either case, the system comes with a product selections
file, created by me, which allows one to immediately remove most of
the space-hungry items not needed for video editing quickly and
easily, ie. run swmgr, click on Manage Installed Software, load the
selections file and click Start. This will be very useful if you're
not that familiar with using swmgr, or do not want the hassle of
sorting out which items can be removed and which can't. I've already
done all the hard work. :)

NOTE: it is possible to upgrade this model of O2, with the help of a
company that can do PCB modification and a couple of other changes, to
600MHz and probably 800 or 866MHz too. Full details coming soon, or
see the thread on Nekochan:

See the Intro page for full details on how I install a system, the extra
items I put on, etc.

I am located in Edinburgh, Scotland. The shipping cost to a UK
destination for an O2 system is 18 UKP (for ParcelForce48 2-day
guaranteed shipping with full insurance), though if possible I do a
more accurate calculation in each case since the cost can be higher if
any extras are included. Alternatively, a personal collection is
welcome, or I can deliver by train/bus (the buyer merely pays my
travel costs). The shipping cost to mainland Europe is typically 60 to
70 UKP for Euro48 service (2-day shipping guaranteed, full insurance,
tracking, etc.), for example I recently sent an O2 to France which
cost 64 UKP; again, I can calculate a more precise cost in each case.

Cheers! :)

Ian.

PS. R5K/200 O2 256MB/9GB also available for 350 + shipping.
