Hi, I have tried to use make on an SGI machine. But the syntax seems like is totally different from other machines. The normal dependency "making" mechanism works fine. But I can't do any looping with the make. For examples, for i in $(SUBDIR)""; do echo "$$i"; make done The make always coomplains for: command not found Can anyone give a hand on this? Please. Ivan
